YARMOUTH — Telemachus George Anastos, 91, formerly of Cambridge, Mass., died at home on March 18.

Born in Boston, Mass., on Feb. 6, 1920, he was a son of George P. and Katrina Anastos.

During World War II he served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1946.

He will be missed by his family and friends, who loved him dearly.

He was predeceased by his brother, Peter, sister, Ellen Sampson, and daughter, Beth.

Surviving are four children, Peter of Yarmouth, Kathryn of Yonkers, N.Y., Ellen of Portland, and George of Littleton, Colo.; and six grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 25, at the First Parish Congregational Church, 116 Main St., Yarmouth. Following the service, friends and family are welcome at the home of Peter and Lori Anastos, 56 Spruce Point Road, Cousins Island, Yarmouth.
