PORTLAND — Democratic Rep. Mike Sylvester was re-elected in House District 39 on Tuesday.
Sylvester defeated Republican challenger Peter Doyle 4,215 to 659.
House District 39 covers the city’s Casco Bay islands, Munjoy Hill, eastern waterfront and Congress Street corridor to State Street.
