Swimmers span Peaks to Portland in peak fashion

Scarborough resident Jeff Small approaches East End Beach on Saturday, July 18, during the Peaks to Portland swim race. Small finished 27th. James Yeomans, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, finished first — his fifth consecutive win.

Brunswick resident Benjamin Morse edges out Bath resident Hopper McDonough by less than a second at the finish line Saturday, July 19, during the Peaks to Portland swim race, for 13th and 14th place finishes.
