Meet the new champs, same as the old champs. Waynflete repeated as Class B girls’ lacrosse champion Saturday with a hard-fought 7-4 win over Yarmouth. The Flyers also completed the season where they began, atop our poll.
Cape Elizabeth’s boys’ team went hog-wild after beating Yarmouth, 7-4, in Saturday’s Class B state final, earning the No. 1 spot in our final poll of the season.
