PORTLAND — Baxter Boulevard will be closed to vehicle traffic from Payson Park to Vannah Avenue each Sunday beginning May 6.
The closure marks the resumption of Sundays on the Boulevard for the fifth year, city spokeswoman Jessica Grondin said in a press release Monday. Pedestrians, bicyclists and skateboarders are invited to use the closed roadway.
Vehicular traffic will be prohibited Sundays from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. through Sept. 23.
