SCARBOROUGH — Both Scarborough and South Portland have announced free outdoor concert series line-ups for the summer.

Kicking off on June 26 with the Time Pilots, Scarborough Community Services will host live bands every Thursday through July in Memorial Park on Sawyer Road. All shows begin at 6:30 p.m.

The July 3 concert features the ’60s Invasion Band. Country rock group 43 North Band comes on July 10, followed by disco cover band Motor Booty Affair July 17. On July 24, Tony Boffa Music presents The Carmine Terracciano Band, a show with music for all ages.

The series ends on July 31 with ’80s cover band The Awesome.

In the case of rain, shows will move indoors to the Winslow Homer Arts Center at Scarborough High School.

In South Portland, beginning on July 2 with blues group Delta Knights Band, the city will host performances on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Mill Creek Park.

Other performances include the Veayo Twins, a pop group whose original songs raise awareness of bullying, on July 9; traditional Cuban and Latin music from Primo Cubano on July 16; classical jazz and swing tunes from Caroline Cotter and The Portland Swing Trio on July 23; and local singer-songwriter Don Campbell on July 30.
