CAPE ELIZABETH — There will be 11 candidates on the Nov. 3 general election ballot for six seats on the Town Council and the School Board.

Three council seats have drawn seven candidates; there are four candidates for three seats on the School Board. All have three-year terms.

Councilors Jim Walsh and Jamie Wagner, and School Board members David Hillman, Kate Williams-Hewitt and John Christie III, are not seeking re-election.

Councilor Jessica Sullivan is the only incumbent, seeking a third-term. Sara Lennon, a former councilor, is also on the ballot. She served on the Town Council from 2007-2012, and is seeking her third term.

Also running for Town Council are Imogene Altznauer, Roger Bishop, James Garvin, Ralph Miller and Victoria Volent. Volent is currently on the Planning Board, where her term is expiring.

Heather Altenburg, William Gross III, John Voltz and Elizabeth Scifres are running for the School Board. Scifres previously served one term on the board, from 2011-2014, and lost a re-election bid last year.

There is also a seat open for a five-year term on the Portland Water District Board of Trustees, representing Cape Elizabeth and South Portland. Joseph Siviski of South Portland is the only candidate.
