SOUTH PORTLAND — Disadvantaged job seekers can get attire for interviews Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 9 a.m.-noon at the Greater Portland Career Center, 151 Jetport Blvd.
The annual free “Suits for Jobs” event for men and women will provide suits, ties, and shirts collected and distributed by Men’s Wearhouse. The clothing giveaway is also organized by Auburn-based Creative Work Systems.
A wardrobe specialist from Mens’ Wearhouse will help fit people and staff from Creative Work Systems will help distribute the items collected during a nationwide clothing drive held throughout the summer.
