SOUTH PORTLAND — Shoppers at Shaw’s Supermarket on Waterman Drive are being asked to buy a little more from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, and help “Stuff the Bus” for local food pantries.
Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Breakwater Daybreak of South Portland and Cape Elizabeth, Shaw’s, and the South Portland Housing Authority, the drive will accept non-perishable items such as peanut butter, pasta, coffee, canned fruit, vegetables and soups. Rotarians will be on hand to load a bus with the provisions.
Anyone wishing to donate before the drive can drop off non-perishable items at the South Portland Housing Authority, 100 Waterman Drive.
