CAPE ELIZABETH — Students from the high school Advanced Placement government class will hold a House District 121 candidates forum on Aug. 3 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Town Hall.
The special election on Aug. 16 will fill a seat vacated by Sen. Cynthia Dill, D-Cape Elizabeth, who was elected to the state Senate in May.
Democratic Kimberly Monaghan-Derrig and Republican Nancy Thompson are competing for the House seat, which includes most of Cape Elizabeth.
The students are planning a live cablecast of the forum on CETV Channel 3, and will take call-in questions.
