TOPSHAM — Stephaine “Stella” D. Pelletier, 91, formerly of Lewiston, died peacefully while surrounded by her children on Jan. 13 at Amenity Manor.
Born in Berlin, N.H., on Dec. 31, 1918, she was the daughter of John and Annie Derzen.
Educated in Lewiston schools, she married Roger R. Pelletier on May 1, 1948.
For several years she worked for New England Telephone and later as an inspector for Bates Manufacturing.
She was predeceased by her husband Roger in 2000 and her sister, Mary Palange.
Survivors include three children, Nancy Pelletier and her partner Kim Schaff of Harpswell, Claire and her husband Tim McDonough of Auburn, and Chuck Pelletier of Lewiston; two grandchildren, Stephen and Meaghan McDonough of Auburn; and a brother, Charles Derzen of St. Louis, Mo.
Arrangements are by Albert & Burpee Funeral Home, 253 Pine St., Lewiston.
