PORTLAND — Removal of the Spring Street median began this week and is expected to last at least four weeks.
Work is beginning near the intersection of Spring, Middle, Temple and Union streets, and moving west to High Street.
Motorists are advised to expect changes in traffic patterns and lane closures during the project, which will be followed by utility and streetscape work that is expected to last through late fall.
