Greely graduate named MVP at All-American Bowl

Former Greely Ranger Michael Burgess, representing Maine Maritime Academy, played in the All-American Bowl last month in Daytona Beach, Florida and was named the Defensive MVP on the victorious team. Burgess was named to the All-NEFC Defensive First Team at the defensive line and special teams utility positions and the D3football.com All-East Region First Team.

NYA coach openings

North Yarmouth Academy is seeking upper school coaches for the 2016-17 school year. The openings include head field hockey and girls’ soccer and varsity assistant/junior varsity field hockey. Girls’ lacrosse officials needed

The Maine Women’s Lacrosse Officials’ Association is offering classes for adults who want to officiate girls’ lacrosse this spring. Training/racing program getting underway
