SMCC coach reaches landmark
Southern Maine Community College men’s soccer coach Brian Dougher won his 100th game Sunday when the Seawolves edged Unity College, 2-1, in a Yankee Small College Conference North Division play-in game. SMCC will met St. Joseph’s of Vermont in a YSCC semifinal Saturday in Concord, New Hampshire. SMCC’s women’s soccer team saw its season come to a close Monday with a 3-2 loss to the University of Maine-Machias in a YSCC North Division play-in contest. The Seawolves finished the year 4-8. The SMCC golf team came in second in the YSCC Championships Saturday to end their season.
