SMCC soccer player sets mark
Hannah Fields became the all-time leading scorer in Southern Maine Community College women’s soccer history earlier this week, assisting on the Seawolves’ lone goal in a 4-1 loss to Dean College to give her 57 career points (Fields is also first in goals with 24). SMCC (4-7 overall and 2-4 in conference) goes to the University of Maine-Machias for a Yankee Small College Conference play-in game. The mens’ team finished 6-3-1 (4-2 in conference) after a 3-0 loss to Dean College. The Seawolves host Unity College in a play-in game Saturday. The golf team takes part in the conference championship match Saturday.
