Two South Portland players participated in the Maine Recreation & Park Association/Maine Red Claws State Hot Shot Contest last Sunday. Maggie Whitmore (left) and Lauren DiBiase represented South Portland as the Southwestern Regional finalist in the girls’ 11-12 age bracket. The girls competed against 11 other finalists from all over the state. Whitmore tied for second place with a final score of 95.
