The South Portland boys’ track team participated in the recent New England championships in New Britain, Conn. The 400 meter relay team of J.C. Esquibel, Joey Michaud, Brian Arsenault and Adrian Reid broke the school record with a time of 44.45 seconds, had the best time of any team from Maine and was 13th overall. Pole vaulter Nick Brown also participated. Scarborough’s 4×800 relay team came in 14th (8 minutes, 7.93 seconds) and set a new school record as well.
