CAPE ELIZABETH — Cape Elizabeth’s Pond Cove Parents Association is hosting its annual Scholastic Book Fair Thursday, Oct. 21 through Thursday, Oct. 28  at the Pond Cove School on Scott Dyer Road.  

Money raised through the book fair will benefit the PCPA, which directly supports programs and events for Pond Cove students. Last year’s sale enabled the PCPA to purchase more than $10,000 worth of books and educational materials from Scholastic, Inc.  

Book fair hours will be 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 22, and Monday, Oct. 25; 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26; 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27; and 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct.28.

“The Knights of the Rad Table,” a comical farce based on the King Arthur legend, will be presented by a cast and crew of more than 60 students from grades 5 through 8 at Cape Elizabeth Middle School. The all-ages show runs approximately one hour, with five shows from Thursday, Nov. 4 through Sunday, Nov. 7. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday; 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday; and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $5.
