South Portland Teacher wins for Skillin

SOUTH PORTLAND — Mark Judkins, a third grade teacher at Skillin Elementary School, recently won an award from the Kids’ Science Challenge for encouraging his students to enter the annual contest. Eighteen of his 21 students submitted entries to the contest.

For his efforts, Skillin Elementary will received a $3,500 gift certificate to use towards a Naturalyards school garden kit.
