Meet the Best of Best

Welcome to the Forecaster’s South Portland, Scarborough and Cape Elizabeth Readers Choice Contest. We asked readers to tell us their favorite stores, services and restaurants in the three towns, and those “Best of Best” results are in!
We at the Southern Forecaster, along with the Sebago Brewing Co., our partner in the Best of Best initiative, were pleased that the ballot boxes came back brimming with all of your entries.  There are some blowout categories where the winners clearly dominated; and then there are other categories that were closer, more than a couple even with ties, signifying readers had a hard time choosing among the many excellent choices. It’s important to emphasize that voters could only choose one business per category – their No. 1 choice. Every business here is No. 1 in the mind of the voters. With so many companies working hard to do right by their customers, consumers in South Portland, Scarborough and Cape Elizabeth are fortunate to have such a crop of quality businesses when shopping locally.
Thank you to all the voters who took the time to fill out their ballots, and congratulations to all the businesses that made the list.
