Cape Elizabeth students earn citizenship awards

Cape Elizabeth’s Charlotte Rutty and Julia Hintlian received 2012 Citizenship Awards at the recent Western Maine Conference banquet. Awards to go seniors for their overall contributions to their schools in the areas of academics, athletics, leadership and extracurricular activities, and for their attitude and consideration of others.

SMCC Hall of Fame seeks nominations

Southern Maine Community College is accepting nominations for its 2012 Athletics Hall of Fame class. The Hall of Fame honors former student-athletes, coaches and administrators, as well as special supporters of the athletic department. The 2012 class will be honored in a ceremony Oct. 13.
