SOUTH PORTLAND — A 77-year-old South Portland woman with dementia was reported missing Monday night in Waterford, where she was vacationing at a cottage with her family, according to the Maine Warden Service.

Cpl. John MacDonald said a witness may have been the last to see Ruth Francis Brennan when she was walking on Kezars Road in Waterford around 3 p.m. Monday. Brennan was  wearing a crew-neck striped shirt, denim capris, tan hat, light beige sneakers and light green socks. She has brown hair and hazel eyes, is  5 feet 2  inches tall, and weighs 116 pounds. 

MacDonald also confirmed Brennan has dementia.  

The warden service is searching for Brennan, along with deputies from the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office,  aircraft and K9 teams. MacDonald asked anyone with information on  Brennan’s whereabouts to call the Maine Public Safety Dispatch Center in Gray at 657-3030.
