SOUTH PORTLAND — The Portland Players will host “Alicia & Friends 5: A Musical Benefit for Epilepsy,” Saturday, June 21, at 7 p.m. The event will feature talent from all over Maine performing Broadway classics at the 420 Cottage Road theater.

Tickets are $30 for adults; $15 for children 16 and younger, and include hors d’oeuvres, a champagne reception and a raffle. All proceeds from this event benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of New England.

“Alicia & Friends” was launched in 2008 by Alicia Fournier, a 15-year-old Scarborough girl who was has had epilepsy since the age of 3, and has been performing since the age of 5. Since 2008 Fournier has raised more than $42,000 for epilepsy research and support through “Alicia & Friends.”
