SOUTH PORTLAND — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect or suspects in a shooting Monday night, Feb. 5, that damaged property on Pearl Street. 

Police responded to the Pearl Street and Elm Street area at about 9:30 p.m., after neighbors reported hearing gunshots. A vehicle was seen leaving the scene at a high rate of speed, heading south toward Broadway, according to a Police Department press release. 

Officers found evidence of shots having been fired. A vehicle, storage shed, and home were damaged, but no people were injured.
