SOUTH PORTLAND — Police are looking for two men after a late-night armed robbery Sunday outside the Amato’s sandwich shop at Broadway and Evans Street.

Sgt. Steve Webster said two employees were robbed in the parking lot around 11:15 p.m. after closing the store. One of the suspects showed a gun while demanding money. Webster said “a small amount” of cash was taken.

Both suspects are white males. Webster said. The first is about 6 feet tall, has a thin build, and was wearing a black hoodie and a black bandana with white patches.

The second suspect is about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build, and was wearing a white jacket, a white bandana and jeans.
