SOUTH PORTLAND — Police are searching for a suspect in a stabbing that occurred near Thornton Heights Sunday night.
Sgt. Joe Dell’Aquila said officers were called to 20 Memory Lane at 11:11 p.m. for the reported stabbing. The victim was treated for minor injuries at the scene and did not have to be transported to a hospital.
Dell’Aquila said the incident is not the result of a home invasion. Police know the identity of the suspect, but would not release any more details Monday morning.
