SOUTH PORTLAND — Police charged two people Monday morning with drug trafficking.
Rusty Swift, 36, a transient, and Kelcy Frederick, 33, of Scarborough, were arrested in a motel on Main Street and charged with trafficking in Schedule W drugs.
Police said they seized a prepackaged substance they suspected was cocaine base, packaging material, a scale, and an undisclosed amount of money.
