School Street showdown

8/23 at 4:30 p.m. Police were called to School Street for a group fight in progress. As a result of the investigation, police determined a group of youth had allegedly gone to a residence looking for a person believed previously to have made threats to another person. Officers arrested three 17-year-olds and three adults, 18-year-old Jacob Thomas, of Scarborough, 18-year-old Nickolas Liston and 20-year-old Misha Carmichael, both of South Portland, on charges of disorderly conduct. One 17-year-old boy, reportedly carrying a knife, was additionally charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

Speedy delivery?

8/27 at 12:33 a.m. Officer Kevin Sager stopped a vehicle for speeding on the Veterans Memorial Bridge. Sager searched the vehicle and reportedly found more than 2.5 ounces of suspected marijuana. Ian Sawyer, 26, of Biddeford, was summonsed on a charge of furnishing marijuana.
