9/26 at 1:39 a.m. James Arnold, 38, was arrested on Main Street by Officer Christopher Todd on charges of domestic violence assault and violation of a protective order. 

9/26 at 8:53 p.m. A 17-year-old was arrested on Davis Street by Officer Kenneth Cronin on charges of violation of probation and being a missing or run-away juvenile.

9/27 at 12:21 a.m. Tyler Vercoe, 31, of Scarborough, was arrested on the Turnpike Spur by Officer Seth Page on a charge of operating under the influence.

9/27 at 1:19 a.m. Derek Locke, 31, was arrested on Broadway by Officer Thomas Simonds on a charge of operating under the influence.

9/27 at 1:51 p.m. Felipe Peralta, 20, was arrested on Mussey Street by Officer Jeff Levesque on charges of burglary of a motor vehicle and possession of scheduled drugs.

9/29 at 1:30 p.m. Royce Guptill, 24, of Portland, was arrested on Grant Street by Officer Jeffrey Caldwell on charges of theft by deception and misuse of identification. 

9/29 at 3:35 p.m. Nicholas Gladu, 25, of Portland, was arrested on Western Avenue by Officer Peter Corbett on charges of operating beyond license restrictions, criminal speeding and violation of conditional release.

10/1 at 11:59 p.m. Matthew Wescott, 20, of Waterboro, was arrested on Broadway by Officer Richard Mearn on charges of possession of marijuana and violation of conditional release. 

10/2 at 7:58 p.m. Joseph Call, 23, of Windham, was arrested on Cottage Road by Officer Jeffrey Pooler on charges of operating under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.

9/26 at 1:23 a.m. A 15-year-old was summonsed on Broadway by Officer Benjamin Macisso on a charge of possession of alcohol by a minor.  

9/26 at 5:21 p.m. Janette Maxwell, 73, of Scarborough, was summonsed on Maine Mall Road by Officer Kevin Sager on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

9/28 at 5:07 p.m. A 17-year-old, of Lisbon Falls, was summonsed on Maine Mall Road by officer Benjamin Macisso on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking. 

9/29 at 7:49 p.m. Vidol Steer, 21, was summonsed on Cottage Road by Officer Andrew Nelson on a charge of sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

9/30 at 10:26 a.m. Jonathan Boudreau, 22, of Biddeford, was summonsed on Darling Avenue by Officer Kevin Sager on charges of operating with a license expire greater than 90 days. 

10/1 at 8:45 a.m. Danielle Hall, 26, of Portland, was summonsed on Broadway by Officer Rocco Navarro on a charge of operating after suspension. 

10/1 at 12:46 p.m. A 15-year-old, of Biddeford, was summonsed on Maine Mall Road by Officer Adam Howard on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking. 

10/1 at 11:59 p.m. Dylan Mullen, 19, of Old Orchard Beach, was summonsed on Broadway by Richard Mearn on a charge of possession of marijuana. 

No drunk uncle

9/28 at 3:25 p.m. Police were called to a Cash Street residence, where a mother reported that a drunk man had entered her yard and tried to play with her two young children. The woman said she prevented the stranger from picking up one of the children, but the man continued to insist he be allowed to play with the children. When told to leave, the stranger allegedly shoved the woman after she threatened to go get her husband. James Swaka, 30, was arrested on charges of assault, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. 

Follow the money

9/29 at 12 a.m. A man whose wallet was stolen on Sept. 4 called police to report that his credit cards were being used to make numerous purchases in South Portland. While developing a list of subjects, Officer Jeffrey Caldwell received a search warrant for an apartment on Grant Street in Portland. When Portland and South Portland police searched the home, some of the stolen items were recovered. Royce Guptill, 24, of Portland, was arrested on charges of theft by deception and misuse of credit identification.
