10/10 at 12:30 a.m. Police were called to Free Street for a reported disturbance in the street. Upon arrival, they discovered a couple yelling in an apartment that had an open window. After making contact with the residents, the male reportedly refused to calm down. Joshua Smith, 21, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, violation of conditional release and on a warrant.

10/14 at 12:45 a.m. Police were called to Westbrook Street for a hit-and-run collision where a construction vehicle being transported on a trailer had struck the underside on a Interstate 295 bridge. Hydraulic fluid was reportedly spilled as a result of the accident. The driver, Gerald Emerson, 39, of Bowdoin, was located with the help of state police and arrested on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident.
