Follow your nose, find the drugs
10/23 at 7:06 p.m. After allegedly seeing the driver cruise through a red light, Officer John Sutton pulled over a pickup truck on Western Avenue. When he got to the truck, Sutton reportedly smelled marijuana, prompting him to search the driver and the cab. After searching the vehicle, he allegedly found “a couple dozen” tablets of ecstasy, more than 2.5 ounces of marijuana and about a half-dozen Adderall. The driver, Timothy Segal, 28, of Portland, was arrested for possession of scheduled drugs. He also was charged with furnishing a scheduled drug as a result of the quantity of marijuana allegedly found.
