Bon voyage

4/25 at 1:30 a.m. Police assisted fire fighters responding to an illegal bonfire on Commercial property near the oil tank farms on Front Street. Upon arrival, two suspects allegedly fled, but were apprehended after a foot chase. The 15-year-old and 17-year-old were summonsed on charges of criminal trespass, refusing to submit to arrest or detention and burning without a permit. The 17-year-old was also charged with refusing to provide personal information to an officer.

Roof-top shoppers

4/26 at 9:33 p.m. Police responded to the Maine Mall for a report of four people on the roof. With the help of mall security, police were able to apprehend the suspects, all of whom were from Windham. Timothy Gifford, 19, and three juveniles, two age 16 and one 17, were summonsed for criminal trespass.
