5/14 at 1:40 a.m. Joseph M. Rokowski, 23, of Gray, was arrested on Main Street by Officer Brian McCarthy on charges of theft of services, possession of marijuana and assault.

5/14 at 3:45 p.m. Jacob Mann, 28, of Portland, was arrested on Broadway by Officer Richard Mearn on a charge of operating a motor vehicle after license suspended-habitual offender and suspended registration.

Summonses

5/14 at 2:09 a.m. William M. Taley, 27, of South Portland, was issued a summons on Main Street by Officer Jake Hall on a charge of theft of services.

5/14 at 10:30 a.m. Laurie A. Deleo, 36, of Saco, was issued a summons on Main Street by Officer Adam Howard on a charge of suspended registration.

5/14 at 4:30 p.m. A 15-year-old boy was issued a summons on Maine Mall Road by Officer Andrew Nelson on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

5/14 at 6 p.m. Andrew Tripp, 18, Waterboro, was issued a summons on Maine Mall Road by Officer Robert Scarpelli on a charge of possession of alcohol by a minor.

5/19 at 6:46 p.m. A 17-year-old girl was issued a summons on Running Hill Road by Officer Rocco Navarro on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

Second time’s a charm

5/13 at 5:28 p.m. Employees at Hannaford on Philbrook Avenues observed a white male allegedly stealing several bottles of high-value liquor, totaling a $298 heist. The store called local police, but the thief got away. Employees then saw a man they believed to be the same thief making another illegal liquor withdrawal at the same Hannaford on May 17. The suspect was seen riding off on a bicycle. Police arrested Arthur Hall, 31, of Portland, on two charges of theft, both stemming from the Hannaford incidents. Police say Hall has a record of theft.

Nudity’s no excuse

5/14 at 11:58 p.m. Officers responded to a call of suspicious activity on Madison Street. Upon arrival, an officer said he found a male and female, both 36, nude in a parked car. The indecent couple were reportedly asked to move along, but not before the female was summonsed for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.

Sleepy intruder

5/18 at 9:33 a.m. An E Street resident called police to report his back door had been forced open while he was away on vacation. The resident said nothing appeared to be missing, and police reportedly suspect an intruder simply used the man’s home for a place to sleep.
