Once bitten

2/25 at 9:29 a.m. Officer John Bostwick was called to McLean Street for a report of a person getting bit by a dog. The report is unclear about exactly where the incident occurred. No citations were issued, but the case was referred to the animal control officer.

Reversing course

2/25 at 12:43 p.m. Police took an accident report involving a city plow truck at the corner of Strout and Cash streets. The plow driver reportedly started to move forward, but stopped and backed up to reset his plow, striking and causing about $600 in damage a 2006 Ford vehicle.

School mixer

3/4 at 10:55 p.m. Police discovered a group of girls with alcohol on school property. One of the girls reportedly got the booze from her home and made mixed drinks. Four 14-year-old girls and a 13-year-old girl were issued summonses on charges of possession of alcohol by a minor.
