A dark drive

3/12 at 12:40 a.m. Officer Brian McCarthy pulled over a vehicle he observed driving without headlights on Evans Street. When the vehicle stopped on Highland Avenue, it was being driven by a young man, who had a female passenger. McCarthy discovered the vehicle belonged to the girl’s mother and the boy, who had no license, did not have permission to use the car. The 16-year-old was arrested on charges of operating without a license and theft by unauthorized taking.

Stall eyes

3/21 at 1:30 p.m. Police were called to Hannaford Bros. on Cottage Road for a report of man in the woman’s bathroom. The man, later identified as Andrew Goupil, 30, allegedly peered over a bathroom stall to view a female employee, who was using the bathroom. Goupil, who was out on bail, was arrested on charges of violation of privacy and violating conditions of release.
