6/13 at 2:37 a.m. David Butler, 20, of Casco, was arrested on Highland Avenue by Officer Seth Page on charges of burglary of a motor vehicle, possession of scheduled drugs and receiving stolen property.

Two ships passing in the night

6/19 at 7:11 p.m. Officer John Sutton was parked near Broadway and Elm street when he reportedly saw two vehicles strike one another while in motion. Only one car stopped. Sutton confirmed there had been a collision and stopped the vehicle that allegedly continued to drive. Jared Card, 29, was arrested on charges of operating under the influence and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Sawyer Street disturbance

6/19 at 12:53 a.m. Police were called to Sawyer Street for a disturbance. Upon arrival, the officers were reportedly told there had been a confrontation with verbal threats. Ronald Peterson, 42, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Juvie drug bust

6/16 to 6/17 Officer Adam Howard conducted an investigation into allegations that a 12-year-old had provided prescription drugs to two other adolescents. As a result, three kids, ages 12-13, were summonsed for drug offenses, including furnishing scheduled drugs, possession of scheduled drugs, and sale and use of drug paraphernalia, in which case a pipe was allegedly used for marijuana. The kids were summonsed and turned over to their parents.
