5/30 at 1:23 a.m. Adam Steinman, 45, of Scarborough, was arrested on Anthoine Street by Officer Kevin Sager on a charge of operating under the influence. 

5/30 at 1:29 a.m. Ryan Bourgoin, 29, was arrested on Interstate 295 by Officer Brian McCarthy on charges of operating under the influence and operating without a license. 

5/30 at 1:17 p.m. Ryan Bourgoin, 29, was arrested on Benjamin Pickett Street by Officer Kevin Gerrish on a charge of violating conditional release.

5/30 at 2:19 p.m. Iris Downey-Plotnick, 19, of Portland, was arrested on Maine Mall Road by Officer Paul Lambert on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking. 

5/31 at 12:42 a.m. Thomas Auger, 55, of Cape Elizabeth, was arrested on Ocean View Avenue by Officer Richard Mearn on a charge of operating under the influence.

6/3 at 12:35 a.m. Susan Goodrich, 49, of Windham, was arrested on a warrant on Wolfcreek Drive by Officer James Fahey for possession of scheduled drugs. 

6/4 at 1:53 a.m. Richard Eales, 45, of Portland, was arrested on Western Avenue by Officer Erin Curry on a charge of operating under the influence.

6/4 at 8:38 p.m. Joshua Alder, 30, a transient, was arrested on Maine Mall Road by Officer Rocco Navarro on charges of assault, theft by unauthorized taking, carrying a concealed weapon and failure to give correct name or date of birth. 

6/4 10:15 p.m. Cheryl MacDonald, 40, was arrested on Broadway by Officer Richard Mearn on a charge of theft of services. 

6/5 at 4:51 p.m. Shelly Craigin, 29, was arrested on a warrant by Officer David Stailing on Main Street.

6/2 at 10 a.m. A 14-year-old and a 15-year-old were summonsed on Highland Avenue by Officer Allen Andrews on charges of disorderly conduct. 

6/3 at 3:51 p.m. Shawn Batchelder, 24, of Portland, was summonsed on Elm Street by Officer Patricia Maynard on a charge of operating without a license.  

6/4 at 11:49 a.m. Christopher Durham, 24, of Lewiston,was summonsed on Maine Mall Road by Officer Corey Hamilton on a charge of cruelty to animals.

6/4 at 5:26 p.m. A 16-year-old, of Portland, was summonsed on Maine Mall Road by Officer Andrew Nelson on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking. 

6/5 at 1:03 p.m. Michael Syzmaniak, 54, was summonsed on Cottage Road by Officer Robert Libby on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

6/5 at 4:55 p.m. A 17-year-old, of Biddeford, was summonsed on Philbrook Avenue by Officer Rocco Navarro on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

Book fight

6/2 at 10 a.m. The school resource officer responded to a fight between two girls in the high school library. Two 17-year-old girls were summonsed for disorderly conduct.

Maine Mall tussle 

6/4 at 8:30 p.m. Police were called to the Maine Mall, where security guards were reportedly chasing a suspected shoplifter in the parking lot. Mall security and police eventually apprehended the man, who allegedly stole jewelry and other items from JC Penney. But the man reportedly resisted arrest – at one point allegedly reaching for a knife in his pocket. Joshua Alder, 30, a transient, was arrested for felony theft, assault, failure to give correct name and date of birth and carrying a concealed weapon.

Hot dog

6/4 11:50 a.m. The animal control officer was called to the Maine Mall parking lot for a report of a dog in distress. The ACO reported the dog appeared to be visibly distressed. Although it was only about 75 degrees outside, the ACO recorded the temperature inside the car to be in the upper 90’s. The car was eventually unlocked and the dog was removed. Contact was later made with the owner, Christopher Durham, 24, of Lewiston, who was summonsed for animal cruelty.
