7/14 at 3:15 a.m. Jeffrey J. Fazekas, 33, of Portland was arrested on the Maine Turnpike Spur by Officer Jeff Levesque on a charge of operating under the influence.

7/14 at 10:46 a.m. Geoffrey Hopwood of Cornish was arrested on Western Avenue by Officer Kevin Webster on charges of violating a protection order and violating conditions of release.

7/15 at 2:31 a.m. Lukas W. Brewington, 21, of Cape Elizabeth was arrested on Broadway by Officer Scott Corbett on a charge of operating under the influence.

7/16 at 1:31 a.m. Ashley N. McComish, 24, of South Portland was arrested on Kelley Street by Officer Jeff Warren on charges of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

7/18 at 3:35 a.m. Frank L. Christopher, 22, of South Portland was arrested on B Street by Officer Shane Stephenson on a warrant from another agency and charges of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, carrying a concealed weapon and refusing to submit to arrest.

7/18 at 4:03 a.m. Ervin E. Rose, 32, of South Portland was arrested on Boyd Road by Officer Jeff Warren on a charge of domestic violence assault.

7/14 at 2:29 p.m. Police investigating a call about marijuana use and possible drug sales at a Southwell Street home found adults sitting in a front yard smoking cigarettes.

7/16 at 4:21 p.m. Police were unable to locate a man and a woman “letting it all hang out” in a vehicle in the 900 block of Broadway.

Safe and sound

7/23 at 4:04 p.m. Police located a 76-year-old Kaler Road resident at a Sawyer Street home. The woman has dementia and a history of wandering from her home. The city reverse-911 alert system and a canine unit were used in the search, which ended around 7:45 p.m.
