1/15 at 10:21 a.m. Diana A. Ouellette, 20, of Scarborough, was arrested on Western Avenue by Officer Steven Connors on a warrant for failure to appear.

1/15 at 7:15 p.m. Nicolas Kimball, 19, of South Portland, was arrested on Highland Avenue by Officer Jake Hall on a charge of violation of conditional release.

1/18 at 2:05 p.m. Said Mohamed, 18, of South Portland, was issued a summons on Waterman Drive by Officer John Bostwick on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

1/15 at 4:19 p.m. A 16-year-old boy, of Portland, was issued a summons on Maine Mall Road by Officer Robert Scarpelli on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

Cruiser fender-(non)bender

1/19 at 11:30 p.m. Officer Andrew Nelson was reportedly pulling into the police department parking lot on rain-covered ice, was unable to turn or stop, and slid into his personal vehicle. There were no injuries and no damage reported to either vehicle, but a report was taken since one of the vehicles was owned by the city.

Cold potatoes

1/14 at 1:27 a.m. Police were called to the 800 block of Broadway for a report of suspicious activity. The responding officer discovered a dispute between two men, after one of then turned off the power to a stove.

1/15 at 8:51 p.m. A Todd Lane homeowner called police to report that an unwelcome person was en route to the home. Officers met with the homeowner, who described the circumstances. As officers were leaving the person arrived and reportedly refused to leave. Rebekah Gombs, 31, of Saco, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass.

Out in the cold

1/18 at 12 a.m. Police responded to a vehicle stuck in a snow bank on Pillsbury Street. The driver, Christopher Caron, 25, was subsequently arrested on a charge of operating under the influence.
