1/8 at 1:19 p.m. Police were called to Wainright Circle for a report from a 20-year-old man who had been threatened by a boy with a knife. The man said he knew the boy who had approached him carrying the knife, allegedly threatening him. The 16-year-old, who was on probation, was located, but no knife was found. He was arrested on a charge of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.

Such a scream

1/10 at 9:30 p.m. Police were called to an Ocean Street residence to investigate a noise complaint. The officers issued a warning to the male resident, but were called back to the home about five minutes later. Upon arrival, officers reportedly heard a man shouting and allegedly continued shouting when confronted by police. Richard Fillon, 49, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.

1/13 at 1:40 a.m. Officer Jeff Levesque ran a routine registration check on a vehicle travelling on Commercial Street in Portland. He found the owner was under curfew conditions that restricted her to her Windham residence. He stopped the vehicle and searched it, reportedly finding suspected cocaine and Concerta, a medication for attention deficit disorders. Susan Goodrich was arrested on charges of possession of scheduled drugs, probation violation and violating conditions of release.
