1/21 at 2:16 a.m. Christopher M. Dodge, 42, of South Portland, was arrested on Cole Street by Officer Jake Hall on a charge of domestic-violence assault. 

1/21 at 3:20 a.m. Hector P. Gonsalez, 55, of South Portland, was arrested on Elm Street by Officer Brian McCarthy on a charge of violating conditions of release and on a warrant. 

1/21 at 12:46 p.m. Henry Jean’Lord, 24, of South Portland, was arrested on Wermuth Street by Officer John Bostwick on a charge of terrorizing with a dangerous weapon.

1/21 at 12:27 a.m. A unknown man was seen wandering around inside a secure facility near the intersection of Mechanic and Elm Streets, near the Fore River oil terminal. Officers caught up with the suspect, who said he was looking for a job. The unemployed trespasser was told to move along.

Can I get fries with that?

1/26 at 3:09 p.m. An employee of a fast food restaurant on Waterman Drive reported a man on foot, allegedly drunk, attempting to order at the drive-thru window and hanging around a nearby trash can. When police arrived, the man said he was trying to get home. Officer Peter Corbett obliged.

Unrequited love

1/26 at 8:18 p.m. A man was bothering women at a pharmacy in Mill Creek, where he was allegedly trying to pick up dates. When officers arrived, the romantic was gone. Officer Corbett found the suspect later and told him not to return to the drugstore.
