Twitter played you wrong

8/3 at 1:02 a.m. An officer saw an unoccupied vehicle parked in the Highland Avenue Cemetery. When he approached the vehicle, he found the hood was warm to the touch, and saw two people in the distance on the other side of the barbed-wire fence to the South Portland Transfer Station. The two allegedly appeared to be rummaging through the bins of clothes donated for the Salvation Army. After verifying no one was supposed to be there, officers reportedly approached the pair, who first tried to run. They were eventually stopped, identified as William D. Horsman and Rachael Ryan, both 18, of South Portland, and charged with criminal trespass and attempted theft. The alleged trespassers said they heard via Twitter that they could get free clothes at the transfer station.
