SOUTH PORTLAND — A former state employee from Knightville has announced his candidacy in House District 122 as an unenrolled candidate.
The district includes the Knightville-Mill Creek, Ferry Village, and Willard Square neighborhoods, and is represented by state Rep. Terry Morrison, a Democrat.
Christopher Kessler, a residential energy auditor who recently worked for the state’s LIHEAP weatherization program, has also been a member of the city’s Energy & Recycling Committee.
Kessler ran unsuccessfully for the City Council in 2009.
