SOUTH PORTLAND — State Rep. Lois Galgay Reckitt, D-South Portland, defeated Republican challenger, Kenneth Decatur of South Portland, in the race to represent House District 31.
According to unofficial results, Reckitt outpolled Decatur by a 3,982-1,062 vote.
District 31 is the city’s northeast section, including the Knightville and Willard Beach neighborhoods.
