PORTLAND — Signs explaining revised parking restrictions on the peninsula and near the former Nathan Clifford School are expected to be installed by May 1, the city said in a press release.

The new restrictions reduce the frequency of restricted parking from once a week to the first and third, or second and fourth, Mondays and Tuesdays of each month.

The signs also reflect a change in the time restrictions, from midnight-7 a.m.

The restrictions will precede the scheduled collection day for solid waste and recyclables.

For more details on the new schedules, affected areas and exceptions to the policy, visit the city website.
