FALMOUTH — The public is invited to tour a solar-powered home during an open house from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at 160 Woodville Road.

The home, which is owned by Claudia King and Lindsey Tweed, was built in 1975 from recovered materials such as posts and beams from a 19th-century mill. The home produces more than 7,000 kilowatt hours of solar electricity and features solar-heated hot water.

King is a town councilor and member of the Recycling and Energy Advisory Committee.
