FREEPORT — ReVision Energy of Portland will host a tour showcasing solar energy installations in Freeport, Yarmouth and Falmouth on Saturday, May 1.
Starting at 9 a.m., residents can begin the tour at Falmouth High School, where a wood boiler, solar hot water system and solar electric systems will be installed at various municipal buildings.
The tour will continue to Yarmouth, and end up at the Freeport Public Library, where there will be an energy fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vendors will be available to speak to people about energy efficiency. Lunch will be available and the event is free and open to the public.
