The Southern Maine Community College men’s soccer team won the Yankee Small College Conference title last weekend, downing Paul Smith’s College in penalty kicks after a scoreless regulation and two overtimes. Keith McClure had the winning kick for the Seawolves and Corey Grigas made a stop on Paul Smith’s last kick to clinch the victory. McClure earned the Offensive Player of the Game award. Grigas earned Player of the Match honors after making 12 saves. The Seawolves improved to 13-2-1 and will next take part in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association national championship tournament in Asheville, N.C., Nov. 3-5.
