SOUTH PORTLAND — Area business leaders will gather at 8 a.m. Jan. 25 at Southern Maine Community College for a conference designed to help new businesses start and existing businesses grow.
The first Launch or Grow Small Business Success Conference will be held at the SMCC Entrepreneurial Center. It will allow participants to pitch their business ideas to a panel of experts for feedback.
Program presenters include Bob Johnson, owner of Scratch Baking Co. in Willard Square, and Nat Henshaw of Wiscasset-based Coastal Enterprises.
Admission to the day-long conference is $50, or $25 for SMCC students and alumni. For more information about the conference, visit the conference web page.
