SCARBOROUGH — The concluding presentation in the Friends of Scarborough Library “Murders They Wrote ” series brings three local mystery writers to the library at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10.

Authors Janis Bolster, Jessie Crockett and Lea Wait, all members of New England organization Sisters in Crime, will discuss writing and their latest novels at the library at 48 Gorham Road.

Bolster, a Bath resident, is working on her third novel featuring heroine Sally Jean Chalmers. New Hampshire resident Crockett published her first novel in 2010 and has started a new crime series involving maple syrup. The first novel, “Drizzled to Death,” will be published in October.

Wait has written five crime novels about antiques dealer Maggie Summer. The most recent novel, “Shadows of a Downeast Summer,” is partially set in Scarborough.
